2007 Hyundai Elantra

The 2007 Hyundai Elantra is the first year for the newly designed fourth generation of this mid-size vehicle from Hyundai. The new generation features a 5-speed manual transmission standard along with an optional 4-speed automatic transmission. The powertrain is a front-wheel-drive setup sitting on larger 104” wheel-base tires for an incredible increase in traction and control.

The engine used on the 2007 Hyundai Elantra is a 2.0L Inline-4 Double-Over-Head-Cam engine sporting Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) on the intake cams that afford the Elantra up to 138HP and 136FTLB of torque. Fuel Economy has been vastly improved over previous generations, now coming in at up to 24mpg around the city and over 33mpg on the highway.
